Today I decided to preview the Genesis Sample Theme version 2.2.0-beta-beta1 here. One thing to note, however. I only made changes to the Sample Theme functions.php and style.css files. I did not install the Genesis Beta Tester plugin yet. That means that I didn’t update to Genesis Framework 2.2.0-beta yet. That is where all the real changes reside regarding accessibility. For those of you that don’t know, the Genesis Framework Theme is the parent to the Genesis Sample Theme. I know. I’m being a big chicken not updating the parent yet. Nonetheless, you will see a couple of differences stand out that were not in the previous look I had, even this very morning. It will give you an idea as to the flavor of Genesis accessibility. I will get around to updating to Genesis Framework 2.2.0-beta in my local environment soon, when I have the time that is. I am curious about the actual extent of the changes made to the Framework related to accessibility.
